For some vendors, wedding shows are "as-usual" affairs, but not for me! I only do one show a year and the SF Wedding Fair at the Four Seasons is that show. So let me recap my experience at yesterday's awesome event.
Firstly, the brides. I met so many wonderful brides, MOB (mothers-of-the-bride), and bridesmaids/friends that it's hard to keep track of them all! If it weren't for all of you who stopped by my booth, the show wouldn't really even exist - so thanks to all of you!
I only met a handful of grooms because the show organizers had the forethought to create a bachelor room for all the grooms to hang out in. I didn't get a chance to check it out, but I think there was basketball on TV or something there.
Secondly, I want to extend a special thanks to my old clients, Jean and Rich, Cherry and Aneesh, and good friend, Stacie Tamaki for coming by my booth to help out! I felt really supported and appreciate your time! THANKS!
Here's Stacie, Natalie, and Dilek hanging out at my booth.
And speaking of other vendors, many of my friends were exhibiting at the show as well. Kevin Chin, Asiel, Enhanced Lighting, Geoff White (whose Take-A-Look Tuesday interview can be found HERE), Kathy Goodman, Lily from Wildflower (who's TWC Spotlight video can be seen here), and Philippe from Jade. Some of my videography colleagues were there as well; Alex from Lumitone, Bob from Video Madness, and even Thomas from Thomas Hughes Productions chatted with me briefly about everything from video to economics; real estate to family.
At the show, I had a pretty popular Engagement Video Giveaway that brides could sign up for. I will be posting a video of the results very soon. Stay tuned! The details of the contest will also be posted in an upcoming post.
